SNL’s Chloe Fineman and Chloe Troast Had A Virtual Break-Off

Saturday Night Live may be on summer vacation, but fans still got a glimpse at how the show might tackle Olympic breakdancer Rachel Gunn—thanks to the cast’s two Chloes.

Gunn, the Australian dancer better known as Raygun, made waves online after performing routines at the 2024 Olympics that received zero points from judges, with many viewers criticizing or poking fun at her routine online.

It seems that great comedic minds think alike, because both Chloe Fineman and Chloe Troast posted impressions of Raygun’s performance on social media this weekend.

Troast was the first to post, performing a rooftop routine complete with nonsensical spinning and kangaroo hops. “She kinda did something with that,” Troast wrote.

Within the hour, Fineman had shared her own take on the viral Olympic moment. “Hi. I’m Raygun. I’m from Australia,” she wrote. “And this is me practicing for the Olympics 🦘🐨🇦🇺🌏” Fineman even donned a wig for the video. “Australia legit thought this was breakdancing,” she added on TikTok.

On TikTok, Fineman’s routine has garnered more than 700,000 views, while Troast’s has racked up 1.8 million.

“Chloe’s be on the same page,” Fineman commented on Troast’s Instagram post.

The two impressions were spot-on yet unique in their own ways, making it difficult to compare them. “One is more chest-focused while the other is more crotch-focused,” Instagram user @arthurhattonart wrote. “I see them both as important, yet unique, artistic interpretations.”

Most seemed to agree that between Fineman and Troast, the real winner of the break-off was simply: Chloe.
