What if Elizabeth Holmes had enlisted Druski instead of Nathan Fielder to tell her side of the story?
That was the premise of a new Saturday Night Live pretape this week spoofing You Can See Everything, the hit A24 documentary in which Fielder follows the convicted Theranos founder and her partner, Billy Evans, in the days leading up to her imprisonment.
In SNL’s alternate version, Holmes turns to a different comedian-provocateur: social media star Druski, who moves into the couple’s home to make his own documentary about the disgraced entrepreneur.
The fake trailer unfolds in a near-perfect replica of the house seen in Fielder’s film. But while Holmes wants to show the world she’s an ordinary person, Druski isn’t buying it.
“Y’all got some of the weirdest, freakiest vibes I done ever seen,” he tells the couple.
When Holmes shows him a prototype of Theranos’ Edison blood-testing device, Druski is similarly unimpressed. “Okay, listen, white girl. I’ma say this with all love, right? That’s the most Temu piece of sh*t I ever seen in my life.”
While Fielder’s film runs nearly three hours, the trailer explains, Druski’s version takes the form of a 1,000-part series titled Crazy White Lady Skit, accompanied by a crying-laughing emoji.
The biggest visual gag comes at the end, when Druski appears in whiteface as an Elizabeth Holmes lookalike—and Evans mistakes him for his wife.
