Jimmy Kimmel Live! came back down to earth from its blockbuster Brooklyn week, but still won the 11:35 race by a wide margin last week.
According to Nielsen Live+3 ratings for the week of October 4, 2026, the ABC show averaged 2.576 million total viewers and 299,000 adults 18–49. That was down 22 percent and 21 percent, respectively, from the previous week’s five original episodes in Brooklyn, but still comfortably ahead of NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, which averaged 1.483 million viewers and 200,000 in the demo.
The Tonight Show gained 7 percent in total viewers week-over-week but fell 19 percent among adults 18–49. Both shows aired four original episodes and one repeat.
On CBS, meanwhile, Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen posted two of its strongest nights yet, helping lift both of its half-hours to double-digit gains in total viewers for the week.
Tuesday’s hour averaged 1 million total viewers, the show’s largest audience since its May 22 premiere, following CBS’ NCIS premieres. Then on Friday, following the premieres of Sheriff Country, Fire Country, and Boston Blue, Comics Unleashed delivered its best adults 18–49 performance to date, averaging 175,000 across the hour.
For the week, the show’s 11:35 p.m. half-hour averaged 954,000 total viewers, up 15 percent, and 124,000 adults 18–49, up 7 percent. Its 12:05 a.m. half-hour averaged 711,000 viewers (+14 percent) and 102,000 adults 18–49 (+14 percent). The earlier half-hour aired four originals and one repeat, while the later installment was in repeats all week.
The rest of CBS’ Byron Allen-produced late-night block remained in repeats. Funny You Should Ask averaged 588,000 total viewers (+7 percent) and 76,000 adults 18–49 (–11 percent) at 12:35 a.m., followed by 515,000 viewers (+9 percent) and 60,000 in the demo (–11 percent) at 1:05 a.m.
At 12:37 a.m., ABC’s Nightline averaged 1.016 million total viewers, down 19 percent, and 104,000 adults 18–49, down 40 percent. The newsmagazine aired five original broadcasts.
NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers averaged 966,000 total viewers, down 1 percent, and 135,000 adults 18–49, up 1 percent. Meyers aired four originals and one repeat, narrowly trailing Nightline in total viewers while leading it in the demo.
Switching to cable, Comedy Central’s The Daily Show averaged 889,000 total viewers (+1 percent) and 167,000 adults 18–49 (+6 percent) across four original episodes.
Fox News’ Gutfeld! averaged 2.168 million total viewers, up 7 percent, and 151,000 adults 18–49, up 12 percent. The show aired four original episodes and was preempted Friday night.
And Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live posted the week’s largest percentage gains among the shows we track, rising 20 percent in total viewers to 345,000 and 31 percent among adults 18–49 to 102,000 across five original episodes.
A reminder that linear ratings represent only one slice of the viewing audience, with additional viewing taking place on streaming services, YouTube, and other social media platforms.
