Guillermo Rodriguez Gets an NSFW Consolation Prize From Jimmy Kimmel—Watch

Mirrorball or not, Guillermo Rodriguez made a triumphant return to Jimmy Kimmel Live! Wednesday night, where the freshly eliminated Dancing with the Stars contestant received a trophy all his own.

After paying tribute to Rodriguez’s unlikely five-week run on the ABC competition, Jimmy Kimmel presented his longtime parking lot security guard-turned-sidekick with what he called the “FIFA Mirrorball Trophy”—a decidedly NSFW variation on the real thing.

“Even though you didn’t win Dancing with the Stars, you won something even more valuable, and that’s the hearts of the American people,” Kimmel told him. “I have a memento for you.”

The trophy, honoring Rodriguez’s “Mirrorballs of steel,” took the ballroom theme in a decidedly more anatomical direction.

It wasn’t the only Guillermo-themed souvenir Kimmel had on hand.

He also unveiled a “belly bobble” in Rodriguez’s likeness, immortalizing the coconut bikini top and “DANCING 4 THE PEOPLE” belly art he sported during his Yacht Rock Night foxtrot.

“You know, Guillermo, I have to say the real loser last night was me because I had 40,000 of these belly bobble dolls manufactured,” Kimmel joked. “And now I owe China a quarter of a million dollars.”

Kimmel devoted much of Wednesday’s monologue to looking back at Rodriguez’s Dancing with the Stars run, which began as a long-shot novelty and turned into one of the season’s most polarizing storylines.

A lengthy video package revisited Rodriguez’s dances, the judges’ reactions, and the fans who enthusiastically voted him through week after week—as well as those who became increasingly exasperated that he kept surviving near the bottom of the leaderboard.

“It started as a joke and snowballed into one of the most inspiring underdog stories of the year,” Kimmel said, introducing the montage.

The retrospective ended with Rodriguez’s elimination Tuesday night and emotional reactions from fans who had spent weeks keeping him in the competition.

But Kimmel wasn’t quite ready to put the partnership behind him.

He invited Rodriguez’s very pregnant pro partner Witney Carson onto the stage, thanking her for “teaching our boy so well.”

Asked just how pregnant she was, Carson offered a succinct answer: “Very pregnant.”

Then Kimmel asked if the pair had “one last dance” in them for the people.

They did, ultimately pulling Kimmel in to join them. Watch Wednesday night’s full monologue below:
