Jimmy Fallon has found another reason to start celebrating Christmas early.
The Tonight Show host is featured on “Spending My Christmas With You,” a new holiday song from Cynthia Erivo, set for release next Friday, Oct. 16.
Erivo announced the collaboration on social media, sharing a clip of the new song along with details of the release.
The track is part of Christmas With Cynthia Erivo, a two-song holiday release that also includes Erivo’s rendition of the Nat King Cole standard “The Christmas Song.”
For Fallon, the collaboration adds another entry to what has become a surprisingly extensive Christmas résumé.
The self-professed holiday fanatic released his own Christmas album, Holiday Seasoning, in 2024, bringing in an eclectic group of collaborators that included Ariana Grande, Justin Timberlake, Dolly Parton, Meghan Trainor, the Jonas Brothers, “Weird Al” Yankovic, and The Roots.
Fallon followed the album with the NBC primetime special Jimmy Fallon’s Holiday Seasoning Spectacular, and has taken his Christmas obsession to satellite radio with his own SiriusXM channel, Jimmy Fallon’s Holiday Seasoning Radio, for two years running—in 2024 and 2025.
His enthusiasm for the season predates the album by decades.
During his Saturday Night Live run, Fallon co-wrote the recurring holiday song “I Wish It Was Christmas Today” with fellow cast member Horatio Sanz. He has also frequently talked about spending much of his adult life working at Rockefeller Center—first at SNL, and later at The Tonight Show—surrounded each winter by the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree, ice rink, and holiday crowds.
Erivo and Fallon, meanwhile, already have some musical history together.
The Grammy, Emmy, and Tony winner has made four guest appearances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, most recently in November 2025. During a 2024 visit promoting Wicked, Erivo joined Fallon for a Broadway-themed edition of “Musical Genre Challenge,” performing “The Sound of Music” as an R&B song and “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going” as an opera number.
“Spending My Christmas With You” arrives eight days before Erivo’s next late-night-adjacent gig: she is set to host the Oct. 24 episode of Saturday Night Live UK, with Blossoms serving as musical guest.
