If you’ve ever wanted to sit behind Jimmy Fallon‘s Tonight Show desk—or at least one that looks like it—here’s your chance.
NBC is setting up a recreation of Fallon’s desk outside 30 Rockefeller Plaza on Tuesday, Sept. 22, inviting fans to step behind it and pose for their own Tonight Show moment.
The free, one-day activation will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., just steps from where The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon is taped inside 30 Rock.
There’s ice cream involved, too. The first 500 people in the activation line beginning at 10 a.m. will receive a coupon for a free scoop of Fallon’s Ben & Jerry’s flavor, The Tonight Dough, redeemable at the Rockefeller Center Ben & Jerry’s location.
Following Tuesday’s outdoor appearance, the replica will move inside to The Shop at NBC Studios from Sept. 23-25 before heading to its final destination at The Tonight Shop iat Universal Studios Orlando.
It’s also not the only Fallon desk fans can currently sit behind.
Earlier this year, Chicago’s Museum of Broadcast Communications added Fallon’s Tonight Show “travel desk”—another duplicate of the Studio 6B original that was built for episodes taped away from New York. That desk was used for road shows in Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Orlando, and Detroit before joining the museum’s late-night collection, which also includes a replica of Johnny Carson’s classic Tonight Show desk and Stephen Colbert’s desk, chairs, credenza, stage columns, and other original set pieces from The Late Show.
NBC is billing Fallon’s traveling desk as a special fan experience celebrating The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, which kicks off its 14th season tonight with guests Queen Latifah, Dave Franco, and standup comedian Ethan Simmons-Patterson
The show airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET/PT on NBC and streams the following day on Peacock.
