Weekly Ratings: Kimmel Leads 11:35 in Off-Pattern Week

Jimmy Kimmel Live! won the 11:35 p.m. hour the week of April 27, 2026, benefiting from a full slate of original episodes as The Late Show with Stephen Colbert aired repeats ahead of its final stretch.

According to Nielsen Live+3 ratings data, the ABC late-night show averaged 2.70 million total viewers (+27 percent) and 227,000 adults 18–49 (+11 percent), comfortably topping the field across both key measurements.

The Late Show, which aired five repeats during its final scheduled break before its May 21 finale, fell to 1.33 million total viewers (–48 percent) and 115,000 adults 18–49 (–51 percent).

NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, which aired four original episodes and one repeat, averaged 1.25 million total viewers (+4 percent) and 186,000 adults 18–49 (–15 percent). Fallon’s weekly average was weighed down in part by a delayed Monday broadcast that began after NBA playoff coverage and lost roughly a third of its typical audience.

Kimmel’s gains came during a week in which President Donald Trump twice called for the host’s firing, on both Monday and Thursday. Kimmel responded both times, and the show’s total audience on those nights rose 29 percent and 28 percent week over week, respectively.

At 12:37 a.m., NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers and Nightline split bragging rights, with the ABC News show taking the top spot among total viewers and Meyers winning the week’s demo crown. All told, Late Night averaged 871,000 total viewers (flat) and 149,000 adults 18–49 (–10 percent), while Nightline drew 1.04 million total viewers (+11 percent) and 97,000 in the demo (+3 percent) across five original episodes.

Switching to cable, Comedy Central’s The Daily Show averaged 1.14 million total viewers (+15 percent) and 264,000 adults 18–49 (+29 percent) across four original episodes. In what’s become a recent pattern on weeks when Josh Johnson is behind the desk for the show’s Tuesday–Thursday episodes, the Comedy Central staple led the late-night field among younger viewers.

On Fox News, Gutfeld! again drew the largest overall audience among the shows we track, averaging 3.25 million total viewers (+2 percent). In the demo, the program delivered 244,000 adults 18–49 (+4 percent).

Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live averaged 382,000 total viewers (+3 percent) and 115,000 adults 18–49 (–21 percent).
