Guesting on The Late Show Monday night, Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers shared their vision for Colbert’s next act—and set it in gold.

Colbert’s ousting is “a warning shot,” Lizz Winstead writes today in Rolling Stone. “It tells comedians—even the white, male, successful ones—that there’s a line. And if you cross it, they’ll find an excuse to take you out.”
