Though goodnights were cut short on air, SNL posted them to social media, where Entertainment Weekly spotted the two in embrace. (In what was perceived as a silent protest, Yang was among three cast members who did not appear for goodnights when Chappelle last hosted in 2022, and appeared to be uncomfortable when the polarizing comic crashed Dakota Johnson’s goodnights a year ago.)
