Kristen Wiig, Ryan Gosling to Host SNL in April

Saturday Night Live has a powerhouse lineup of April 2024 hosts.

NBC’s sketch comedy show announced Wednesday that former SNL cast member Kristen Wiig will enter the “Five-Timers Club” when she hosts the program on April 6. British pop singer RAYE will join the April 6 edition of SNL as musical guest.

Wiig spent seven seasons as a Saturday Night Live cast member (2005-2012), and her fifth turn as host comes roughly a week after the debut of her new AppleTV+ series, Palm Royale.

RAYE is making her debut appearance on SNL. She took home the album of the year award at the BRIT Awards earlier this month for her debut album, My 21st Century Blues.

Ryan Gosling will follow Wiig, and host Saturday Night Live on April 13 — his third time hosting the program. Gosling will be joined by musical guest Chris Stapleton.

Gosling’s third turn as SNL host comes on the heels of his widely-lauded live Oscars performance, where the Barbie star performed I’m Just Ken from the hit movie. Gosling previously hosted SNL in 2015 and 2017, and is starring in a new film, The Fall Guy, which hits theaters on May 3.

Stapleton has performed three times on SNL, and is on-tour with his All-American Road Show.
