Saturday Night Live UK has filled out the rest of its fall schedule.
Danny Dyer, James Norton, and Cynthia Erivo will host the final three episodes of the first half of the show’s second series, with Sasha Keable, The Streets, and Blossoms set as their respective musical guests.
Dyer will kick off the October run on October 10, joined by singer-songwriter Keable.
The actor comes to SNL UK after winning his first BAFTA last year for Mr Bigstuff. His acceptance speech at the May 2025 ceremony proved perhaps a little too live for the BBC: the broadcaster cut much of it from its telecast after Dyer let loose with a string of expletives onstage.
He may find himself on friendlier turf at SNL UK, where the live format has left considerably more room for colorful language.
On October 17, Happy Valley and House of the Dragon star James Norton will take over hosting duties, with The Streets serving as musical guest.
Norton already has several high-profile projects on his calendar. He’s set to play Beatles manager Brian Epstein in Sam Mendes’ four-film Beatles saga, currently due in 2028, and next year will take on Hamlet in a new West End production.
Cynthia Erivo will close out the fall run on October 24, joined by indie rock band Blossoms.
The three-time Oscar nominee arrives with a new movie on the way. Prima Facie, Erivo’s first film since the Wicked movies, received a standing ovation at its Toronto International Film Festival premiere earlier this month and is set to open in the UK on November 13.
The newly announced trio follows SNL UK’s September hosts Jeff Goldblum, Jamie Demetriou, and Amelia Dimoldenberg. Together, the six episodes make up the first half of the show’s expanded 12-episode second series, with six more episodes planned for early 2027.
Before the October run begins, SNL UK will take this weekend off, returning October 10 after three consecutive September episodes.
